The Advertising & Design Club of Canada's mandate is both to nurture and to reward creative excellence in Canada. For over 62 years, our non-profit organization has been recognized in the communication arts business for its principles, ethics and high standards.
Our membership comprises a broad spectrum of creative professionals and a student body of up-and-coming creative people. They are opinion leaders whose creative output has a major influence on public taste.
Besides holding the most respected awards event for creativity
in Canada every year, we host lectures and other events, including the ‘Student Portfolio Review,’ where professionals from diverse creative disciplines donate their time to guide students wishing to enter the communication arts business.

Every fall our awards show is attended by over 1,000 creative
professionals. Here, the best work in Canada’s communication arts industry is exhibited and awarded. The winning work, having been judged by prestigious international judges, is given Gold, Silver, or Merit awards.
The show includes:
Advertising Print, Advertising Broadcast, Interactive Media, Graphic Design, Editorial Design, Integrated Campaign, Promo and Media Innovation.
This gala event is covered by such national media outlets as Media Television and a variety of trade publications.
A coffee-table-style annual is also given out to everyone who attends. The book contains the award winning work in full-colour, and a list of sponsors and members. There are 2,000 copies of the annual printed. It is sold in specialty bookstores, distributed to libraries and post-secondary schools nationwide, and sent to creative associations worldwide.
