Term Life Insurance:
Provide your beneficiary with a tax-free, lump sum payment in the event of your death. Coverage is available to members, their spouses and their dependent children. Member and spouse coverage in units of $25, 000. Dependant children can be covered for $10, 000 per child.
 
Accidental Death & Dismemberment:
Additional financial protection. Benefit covers loss from paralysis, loss of limb, or loss of speech, hearing or eyesight if the loss is of an accidental nature. Available in units of $25, 000 to a maximun of $250, 000 for members and their spouse.
 
Critical Illness Coverage:
Pays a tax-free, lump sum payment following the diagnosis* of a heart attack, stroke or life-threatening cancer. Coverage available for members and their spouse in units of $10, 000 to a maximum of $300, 000. Benefit is subject to a survival period of 30 days following diagnosis.
 
Long-term Disability Insurance
Protect your ability to earn an income! This benefit pays a monthly income until you reach 65 (or your earlier recovery), if you become disabled due to an illness or injury. The benefit has an elimination (or waiting period) of 30 days for members, and features a premium waiver benefit in case of disability. Based on your income, you can purchase up to $5,000 of monthly benefit* in units of $20. (this is a tax-free benefit).
 
Studio Overhead Expense
Protects your business if you should become disabled. Insure your fixed monthly expenses (such as rent electricity, employee wages and telephone) with up to $6, 000 of monthly benefit, in $100 units. Benefits payable for up to 12 months. This benefit can be added at any time.
 
Extended Health Care
Covers many of the expenses* your provincial health insurance plan doesn't pay!
No overall maximum within Canada and no deductible
Semi-private room hospital accommodation (up to $100 per day)
Prescription drugs
Emergency hospital/medical coverage and assistance while traveling outside your province of residence (or outside of Canada). AND MORE!
Dental Care
Covers a wide range of preventative, diagnostic and basic restorative services, to a maximum of $1200 per person per year with co-insurance of 80%.
No deductible
Routine exams, diagnosis, x-rays and laboratory procedures, cleaning and scaling
